Hear the darker side of the Priestley House: the stories our regular tours leave out. Costumed guides lead you through the house after dark, sharing ghostly tales connected to Joseph Priestley’s life and the strange happenings said to occur in the House itself.

But this is Priestley’s house, so every story gets the scientist’s treatment. We’ll weigh the evidence and debunk the legends in the spirit of the man himself. It’s history first, spooky second, and fun for the whole family.

After your tour, stay for ghostly discussions and lite refreshments. Every child attending receives a free children’s book!
